To my fellow sisters in Christ, stay on the path that God has placed you on……..

As you enter into the divine year of 2009, allow God full access to your inner being. He
is duly at work molding and shaping you into the most precious jewels that has ever
been created. Allowing Him full reign to what is going to take place in you will ensure
complete and total transformation into a sparkling creation. This is a creation that
when God looks upon you He will say, “What I have made, in My image, is more than
good; it is truly magnificent. Look at how she shines throughout all of the process she
has gone through.”

During this year of harvest, you shall reap all the goodness & blessings that our Father
has stored up for you. Just hold on and see the salvation of the Lord at work as He
extends His right hand of love, grace, and mercy towards you. He has heard your cry in
the midnight hours and He’s preparing to grant your heart’s desires. He is silently
pressing upon your heart to get ready, get ready, get ready.

You are getting ready to soar into the divine call upon your life like never before so my
dear sisters in Christ, hold on because the changing hand of our Heavenly Father is at
work to elevate you to the next mantle in your walk in Christ.

May God bless and forever keep you is my sincere prayer.

How Dedidcated Are You?

You are not born with it; it is not Maybelline; it’s God

By Minister Dawn Evans

Today someone asked me to proofread something and of course I was honored to do so.
However the first sentence (see above) that I read did not agree with my spirit. In all
actuality, it troubled me.

My reason for not agreeing with the above sentence is because of the structure of what I
read.  I believed that it should have read: You are born with it; it’s not Maybelline,
it’s God.

In our quest to obtain true beauty, we must look on the inside and draw the magnificence
out. Telling a young woman that she is not born with it is promoting the world’s view of
beauty. The world feels that the only way a woman can obtain true beauty is by becoming a
size 2, plastering make up all over your face, wearing next to nothing or only name brand
fashions.

Do we as Christians ever sit back and wonder why our young women dress the way they do?
Or better yet, why do they conduct themselves in a manner that is unbecoming of a
beautiful lady? Probably not, but we should!!!

It is not only peer pressure from outside influences such as friends, associates,
television and magazines, or even commercials we hear by way of radio; it’s also a lack
of self-confidence building from  parents and people who knew and recognize that it does
not have to be that way.

Too often, it’s not what we say; it’s what we don’t say. If your daughter, niece,
younger sister, or whomever it may be heard more people who really cares about them,
expressing to them just how beautiful they are, just maybe we would not have so much
emphasis on the outer adorning and we would be continually assisting and drawing out the
inner beauty that will enhance the outer beauty of a woman. We would begin to build up
their self-confidence in a more constructive; not destructive way.

The inner beauty that woman and young women have is not really there. How do I know
this?  Because you are born with it. It’s a glorious and heavenly gift from God the
Father. Most times than not, it is not brought out in a positive way for some that is
conclusive to not only who they are, or whom God knows they are.

God sees the beauty that is in your because He and He alone placed it there. So why tell
a young woman, even an adult woman, who may or may not be struggling with the perception
of the world’s view of beauty that “you are not born with it”. Is that something God
would say? Of course not!!

We, God’s precious jewels, were created in the image, the likeness of God the Father and
Creator of all. See Genesis 1:26-27. So if you begin to tell a young or adult woman that
the she is not born with it, even if you did not mean it that way, are you saying that
even the way God created her in His image that she is now mirroring  the image of the
fallen angel. Believe me when I say that it can certainly be misconstrued to be that way.

Just because of the fall of man through the sin of Adam (Eve) does not mean that the
inner beauty is not there because it is. Is it hidden away because we were born in sin
and shaped in iniquity? I don’t know. What I do know however is if you begin to let the
beauty be drawn out of your it shall and will come forth. Can I honestly say that this is
true? Yes because I have been in that place of not recognizing that my true beauty comes
from within.

Let’s by the mercies of God draw out the inner beauty that is already imparted in our
woman of today. Nothing compares to the beauty that dwells within, that longs to be
nourished to come forth with joy, except for the beauty of the Word of God Almighty.

There is already too much emphasis put on the appearance that others can see; now let’s
change the focus to the inner beauty; that only the outer beauty enhances.

Thought to be left with: Everyone has heard people say you can be the most beautiful
person inside. Well I say you don’t need the skimpy, revealing clothes to prove to
anyone that you have it going on; or even the makeup. When you believe what God says
about beauty (it is very good – all of His creation) and that beauty comes from within,
God will show people you got it going on. Because you were born with it – born with the
beauty of God!!!
