What Have We Given?
We live up to the name God has given us for this ministry. We show True Love and we are a house of Refuge for
many.
*We have prepared home cooked meals for free to feed those in our community.
*We have paid utility bills for those in need.
*We have furnished homes for those unable to afford furniture and basic necessities like heaters, blankets,
curtains, appliances, dishes, bedding, and much, much more.
*We have given financial aid to those who demonstrated need, many of them strangers.
*We have bought hundreds of dollars of grocery for the poor.
*We have loaned our personal vehicles for months at a time, at no charge.
* We have assisted in funeral expenses.
*We have sponsored weddings which included gowns for the bride, suits for the groom, floral decor, and meals.
*We have sheltered families in our personal home on many occasions for months at a time.
*We have donated dozens of 26 gallon trash bags full of clothing to the poor. This includes coats, dresses, suits,
jeans, t-shirts, shoes, underclothes, sweaters, hats, and much more.
*We offer free family movie nights to families, we sponsor light meals also.
*We sponsor field trips for children at no cost.
*We maintain lawns for widows and the poor, we cut grass, rake leaves, trim hedges, etc.
*We make hospital visits to pray for the sick.
*We minister to the needs of residents in area nursing homes on a monthly basis.
*We sponsor a letter writing campaign to those imprisoned locally and abroad, we have written letters to prisoners
as far as China.
*We have purchased brand new Bibles for new converts.
*We offer assistance to newly founded ministries, providing supplies and furniture they need.
*We provide house cleaning services free of charge to the sick and elderly.
*We provide free carpet cleaning to the elderly, poor and widowed.
*We provide in house cooked meals to the elderly.
*We provide transportation for those needing rides to church, doctor visits, grocery stores, etc., in our personal
vehicles.
*We've made minor household repairs at no cost.
*We have provided moving services for the poor at no cost.
*We have purchased diapers and clothing for newborns.
*We sponsor community events at no cost; cook outs and picnics for children in the community.
This is only a small fraction of what the Lord has done through us and everything we do is in Jesus name, because
without Him, we are nothing. We believe to give freely as He has given us. We are known throughout our
congregation, our fellowship of churches, and the state of NC for being liberal givers and we have been
tremendously blessed as a result. If you are able to help us, help others, please let us know, otherwise pray for us
as we continue to endeavor in these areas of Christian service to the communities.
