What is the Spirit Realm?
by Apostle John Lindsey

Teaching and preaching about the
spirit realm today has become as
obsolete in our religious society as
the usage of video tapes compared
to dvds. This may be due to the
church being baptized in a
contemporary and carnal attitude.
Based on biblical references, I
always believed that God wants to
talk about spiritual things, not
carnal. I reference my beliefs to the
vision the Lord Jesus showed
Apostle John in the book of
Revelation 1:10-20 and the vision,
which was shown to Apostle Paul
in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4. The
church must be well versed
concerning the spiritual realm if she
is going to be effective in the areas
of salvation and deliverance. There
must be a rediscovery of the
spiritual realm. To my dismay, there
is a mass majority of well-meaning
Christian folk sitting in church
Sunday after Sunday, month after
month, and year after year who still
lack the basic understanding of the
common precepts pertaining to the
spirit world. Shockingly, many are
unaware of the significance of
events happening in our world
today that are results of activity at
work in the spirit realm around us.
We are spiritually blind in this area.
Great spiritual influences and
resistances are the effects of these
activities, which determine whether
our circumstances are favorable or
unfavorable with regard to our
personal lives.

All that Believed are Coming Together
Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

There is a secular song I have heard
many years ago entitled, “I’m on My
Own”. The female singer was trying
to convince her lover why she should
be alone. He, on the other hand, was
singing in the background the reasons
why they should be together. I can
almost hear that song echoing in the
church would today. In fact, I guess,
some churches could be considered
that female lead singer desiring to be
apart from other churches. Thanks be
to God He is going to change that tune!

The Body of Christ in this generation
has many issues. I ministered
recently and I used the illustration of
our left leg desiring to remove itself
from our bodies by simply walking
away. It seems absurd in reality but
spiritually, it does occur. The Body of
Christ is dividing against itself. Paul
stated in I Corinthians 1:13, “Is
Christ divided?” There are so many
lone wolves and vagabond Christians
who think they are better off all
alone. Acts 2:42-47, “And they
continued stedfastly in the apostles'
doctrine and fellowship, and in
breaking of bread, and in prayers.
And fear came upon every soul: and
many wonders and signs were done by
the apostles. And all that believed
were together, and had all things
common; And sold their possessions
and goods, and parted them to all
men, as every man had need. And
they, continuing daily with one accord
in the temple, and breaking bread
from house to house, did eat their
meat with gladness and singleness of
heart, Praising God, and having
favour with all the people. And the
Lord added to the church daily such as
should be saved.”

Anathema: The Divine Curse
By Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Be wary of those who attempt to preach the Gospel of Jesus
Christ for their own purposes and for their own benefits. We are
indeed living in a time when spirits of lust and greed are running
rampant in our church society. People are preaching for the wrong
reasons, praying for wrong reasons and prophesying for the wrong
reasons. I was told some years ago that a man entered a local
barbershop complaining that he had just lost his job. He stated to
the patrons that he was opening up a church because ‘that is
where the money is’. What a shame that a potential church leader,
someone’s pastor, would develop and cultivate that type of
demonically inspired idea of opening a church. Jesus warned us of
these times. Apostle Paul also forewarned us in Galatians 1:9,
that if anyone should preach another gospel other than the gospel
of Jesus Christ, he shall be accursed. That word in the Greek is
anathema which means a divine curse. If anyone has not the love
of Jesus Christ, according to 1 Corinthians 16:22, he will be
cursed. Be careful what you allow to enter your ear gate.
Everything polished may shine but that doesn’t mean the Glory of
God is shining. It is the glory of the god with the little ‘g’ that is
shining, a wicked and devilish plot to devour your very own soul.
Satan has always tried to duplicate the wondrous workings of our
God, but he cannot love you neither can he save you. Saints,
preachers will manipulate you into thinking your blessings are tied
into them. The devil is a liar. Yes, honor your leaders and submit
to them as it is fit in the Lord (Hebrews 13:17), but your
blessings are tied into your obedience to God’s Word
(Deuteronomy 28). Preachers will use the Holy Scriptures to
manipulate and bind you when Christ came to set you free. They
will use the Word of God to condemn when there is no
condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). He
nailed your condemnation to the tree along with any curses which
may have been spoken over you (Galatians 3:13).

A Lesson of Forgiveness: Philemon
By Prophetess D. Lindsey

The art of forgiveness is one, we
Christians, have to practice to
perfect. Coming from an old man
frame of mind, we are often bound
by the traditions of men and law,
for that matter, to seek retribution
or vengeance. As becoming saints,
however, we seek to learn the art
of forgiveness as taught and
demonstrated by Christ, our King.
In his model prayer, he instructs us
to ask the Father to forgive us our
sins as we forgive those who sinned
against us. Forgiveness can be
such a hard, bitter pill to swallow.
Many, if not most of us have been
wounded and mistreated as we
attempt to live this Christian life.
We are forewarned that all who live
godly will suffer persecution, so we
must endure our trials with
patience and long-suffering to
exercise the fruits of the Holy
Spirit. Even after acknowledging all
that, it can still be a rough ride on
the road to forgiveness. There are
plethora of illustrations I could use
to help articulate my point, but the
Holy Spirit is leading me to look
into the book of Philemon
(pronounced fi-Lee-mun) and his
dealings with his runaway slave,
Onesimus (pronounced
O-nee-si-mus).

The Message of Faith
by Apostle John Lindsey

Faith is one of the most mature subjects we tend to teach and
preach in the church. I have heard many messages regarding this
theme but I have never heard it really taught in depth. More than
often, I think we just merely brush over the surface of the topic
doing a great disservice to our congregations. The faith message
must be taught in depth, it must be preached and taught
repeatedly so that the people will understand how important it is
to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:9). Join me as I
attempt to touch on some of what the Bible has to say about
faith.

Praying in the Spirit
by Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Prayer is the most effective form of communication we have
with the father. When we pray we unlock doors, release
God’s hand of provision, pull supernatural manifestations in
to the natural, and increase our heavenly bank account by
making deposits of faith in God’s Word. When we neglect
to pray, we fail to cover ourselves, our family, friends, and
ministry in the blood of Jesus. We leave ourselves open to
demonic attack because through our lack of faith or
obstinate laziness, we refuse to pray. There are many ways
and methods to pray. Different occasions and situations call
for different types and methods of prayer. The type of
prayer I will be discussing is praying in the spirit.

Cutting Your Ground Wires  101:
Breaking Your Earthly Ties
by Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Many a Christian cries out to God
in a desperate attempt for more
power, more anointing and more
spiritual gifts. Nowadays everyone
wants to be the great ‘so and so’ or
a ‘prophet to the nations’. 1 Peter 5:
5-6, “Humble yourselves therefore
under the mighty hand of God, that
he may exalt you in due time:” It is
so rare, however to find a Christian
who genuinely humbles himself in
this manner and allows God to
perform the promoting from one
level of anointing to the other. Luke
12:31, “But rather seek ye the
kingdom of God; and all these
things shall be added unto you”.
We tend to bypass the ‘seek ye the
kingdom’ part and head for the
‘these things shall be added’ part.
In the secular world, we should
observe the local school system’s
policies of not graduating a child to
the next level without them properly
achieving the desired results on the
required standardized tests. This is
where a lot of us fall short because
we not only fail many of our tests;
we fail to show up for the class!
Have you ever seen a 1st grade
student enrolled in a 9th grade
class? Well that is absurd, right. In
order for that person to be promoted
to the next level; there is a series of
testing involved.

Get Out of the Boat and Walk on the
Water
By Prophetess Lindsey

I delivered this message at an
appreciation service honoring a close
friend in the gospel. I thought to
share that message with you. I pray
you will be blessed and strengthened.

PRIMARY TEXT- Matthew 14:22 -33,
Mark 6:45, John 6:15-21, and a host
of other scriptural references cited in
the document.

The events we read about immediately
follow the feeding of the multitude on
the coast of the Galilean Sea. It is
certain to point out that the women
and children were not counted among
the five thousand for it was Hebraic
tradition referring back to Moses,
where only men were counted.
Nevertheless, the miracle Jesus
performed in feeding the flock of God
had become a distant memory as the
twelve disciples rowed their way
across the sea. Jesus, discerning the
hearts of those He fed that they
desired to make Him king, instructed
the disciples to cross the boat by sea
and would meet them on the other
side. Jesus took the time to pull away
from everyone and pray.

The Fruit Inspector
By Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Everyone loves gifts. As a matter of fact, if you give your enemy
a gift, even he may turn away his wrath for a moment. Ephesians
4:8, “Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led
captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.” Which gifts did He
give us?  First and foremost, He gave us the gift of salvation and
saved us. Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be saved”. Secondly, He gave us the gift
of the Holy Ghost and sealed us. Ephesians 1:13, “In whom ye
also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were
sealed with that holy Spirit of promise”. The Holy Ghost brought
with it nine spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:4, “Now there are
diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.”) to edify us and then He
gave us a fruit basket (Galatians 5:22-23). A bundle of nine
spiritual fruit to justify us as His elect.

I was taught from a child to never look a gift horse in the mouth.
In other words, whenever someone gave you a gift, you are
supposed to be grateful and appreciative. Be thankful when
someone presents you with a gift, whether you like it or not
because out of the abundance of their heart, they brought forth
such gift. Jesus offered these spiritual gifts to us at times in our life
while we were yet unworthy. Only through the atoning sacrifice
of His Blood are we made worthy. He offered these spiritual
blessings to us because He loved us even while we were yet
unlovable. When you give a person a gift, you expect them to use
it. It’s offensive to take a person’s gift and tuck it away. This is
why our Lord took great lengths to explain the parable of the man
with the ten talents. We are supposed to use what He has given
us. Our gifts and talents were not meant to be hidden. Our talents
were designed to be used, not buried. Jesus gave us these gifts to
be used for His Kingdom.

Exposing the Jezebel Spirit
by Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Jezebel was the daughter of
Ethbaal, king of Sidon and the
Phoenicians. She was the wife of
King Ahab of Israel and birthed him
two sons, Ahaziah and Jehoram,
who reigned in his stead following
his death. Her name contains the
Canaanite root “z-b-l”, which is
defined “prince, master” which is
usually attributed to the god, Baal.
Ahab married Jezebel for political
and economical reasons. Their
marriage of ‘convenience’ also
opened the doors for Jezebel’s
religious influences to spread
throughout Israel. Jezebel is
remembered for her devotion to the
god of Phoenicia, Baal and
Ashram. See I Kings 16:31; 18:
4; II Kings 9:7, 22. The prophets
Elijah and Elisha blame Jezebel
more than Ahab for the
assassination of God’s truly
anointed and sent prophets and
introducing the worship of Baal as
the national religion. Jezebel
maintained power and control
during the regency of Ahab and
their two sons. Although she
reigned as queen, the prophets
never treated her as such.
Jezebel plotted the murder of
Naboth when her husband griped
and complained over the coveting of
his vineyard. After her conspiracy
of Naboth’s death, she gave Ahab
the land (I Kings 21). This woman
was cunning, sharp, controlling and
violent. Athaliah, who later become
queen of Judah, inherited her
mother’s spirit of witchcraft II Kings
8:18. It was Jehu who killed
Jehoram (II Kings 9:14-28) and
buried what the dogs left remaining
of Jezebel’s bones (II Kings 10:18-
28). It was Jezebellic influence
which caused the downfall of the
Omrian Dynasty (I Kings 21:17;
II Kings 9:36-37). In Revelation
2:20, the term Jezebel is used to
symbolize false prophetesses who
bewitches and entraps Christians
into idolatry.

Crossing Jordan
By Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Deuteronomy 12:9-11, “For ye are
not as yet come to the rest and to
the inheritance, which the LORD
your God giveth you. But when ye
go over Jordan, and dwell in the
land which the LORD your God
giveth you to inherit, and when he
giveth you rest from all your
enemies round about, so that ye
dwell in safety; Then there shall be
a place which the LORD your God
shall choose to cause his name to
dwell there; thither shall ye bring
all that I command you; your burnt
offerings, and your sacrifices, your
tithes, and the heave offering of
your hand, and all your choice
vows which ye vow unto the
LORD:”

There are certain places, spiritually
and physically, we will never enter
because we haven’t walked through
our Jordan Rivers. The Jordan
River was the canal between the
place of suffering (the wilderness)
and the place of blessing (the
Promised Land). Although Israel
had wandered forty years in the
wilderness, were weary and worn
out, there remained yet another level
of conflict they had to endure before
entering into their rest. When
fleeing their Egyptian tormentors,
the Israelites were chased to a point
of no return. They had to either
cross the Red Sea or return to Egypt
as Pharaoh’s slaves. They had no
choice but to cross over because the
enemies of their salvation were hot
on their trail. They crossed the Red
Sea in fear and doubt, but the next
generation crossed the Jordan River
with boldness and confidence.

Dare to be Different
By Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Have you ever attended a function where you were wearing the
very same identical outfit as someone else? Notice how
uncomfortable you felt, wondering who looked the best? Well,
that is the same way we should feel when we categorize ourselves
after other Christians. We tend to imitate others in the way they
convey their messages, the way they conduct themselves, their
mannerisms, their dress, hair, and their charismatic style. How that
must irritate God, to see the care with which He took to create all
of us differently and just as marvelously as the other, and we
resort to copycat behavior. Consider the trees, how they may be of
the same variety, yet never grow the same height nor weight,
while even their branches boast of its individuality. Examine the
blades of grass in your front yard, notice how they are all green,
yet vary in shade, height and width. Look at the animal kingdom
and notice the variety of species of dogs, cats, snakes, etc., there
is such a variety, yet not one animal imitates the characteristics of
another. Considering they have little to no reasoning skills, they
manage to carry out their functions, whatever they may be, and do
so independent of each other. We, humans, especially those of us
who profess Christ, don’t seem to mind the fact that some animals
rank higher on the social ladder of intelligence in this area than we
do.

Are all things done unto edifying?
By Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

Edifying. We use this word quite
frequently, and if not, we definitely
should be because our primary
source of encouragement comes
from our church family. God is
calling our people to edify one
another, the church, and the work
of the Kingdom. What exactly does
edify mean? According to Merriam –
Webster, edify means to build or
establish, to instruct or to improve
in moral or religious knowledge. A
closer look at this word in the
original Greek tongue, reveals a
more weighty and noteworthy
disclosure. Edify in the Greek is the
term, oikodome, which means,
building up, the act of one who
promotes Christian growth in
Christian wisdom, piety, happiness,
and holiness. In other words, if the
bible declares that we should edify
the church, we should conduct
ourselves in such a way to ensure
Christian growth at all times.
Apostle Paul used this word exactly
eight (8) times in his teachings; 1
Corinthians 14:5, 14:12, 14:26,
2 Corinthians 12:19, Ephesians 4:
12, 4:16, 4:29, and 1 Timothy 1:
4 . The amusement to that is how
the teachings of Apostle Paul are
always used to demean, harass,
belittle, and intimidate certain
churches, yet we see this same man
instruct the churches to edify one
another over and over again.

Take Me from Oppression to
Progression
By Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

There will be times in your life
when you feel as if the walls are
closing in on you. You may feel as
if all hope is lost, everything has
gone awry, and as a result, your
thunderous praise has succumbed to
a whimpering whispered, hallelujah.
When this season strikes you, you
need to understand what season you
are in. Wisdom will teach you to
continue advancing forward and
don’t ever retreat into a life of
misery, defeat, and despair. Make
your mind comprehend the fact that
all things are working for your
good, according to the purposes of
God toward those who He has
called (Romans 8:28). You are not
like everyone else. What may work
out for one person will not always
work for you. You are royalty (1
Peter 2:9); the rules of engagement
in this game of life don’t apply to
you, my friend. Let me share a
personal example with you that you
may fully grasp what I am about to
share with you. Get ready to thrust
your faith into catatonic levels.

June 2002, I was called into the
principal’s office at an area
elementary school for an end of
year assessment. I had just received
the teacher of the year award for the
outstanding service I provided to the
school as I cared passionately for
every student in my four classes,
approximately 94 children. Two of
our grade level teachers basically
walked off their jobs after state
testing had completed and I was
chosen to fill their vacated positions.
I had an ill child at home who was
suffering severe allergies and
needed constant medication. I was
attending a local university
completing dual programs in
Religious Studies and Business
Management. I was also the
administrator of my father’s church
and the financial secretary. Needless
to say, my hands were busy, yet I
was approaching a set of
circumstances I was not prepared
for.

Dream Killers
by Prophetess Delisa Lindsey

All of God’s children have destiny; and we all dream. We dream
of a better life for our family and friends but most important, we
dream of doing a great work for God. If you are privileged, then
God has revealed to you His greater purpose for your life. This is
called your vision. Proverbs 29:18 says,” when there is no
vision, the people perish”. The Hebrew word for vision is chaza ,
which means “a revelation, a view, a sight, or an agreement”. The
Hebrew word for perish is para which means “ to make naked, to
set at nought, to refuse and uncover.” Our vision keeps us
occupied, focused, and energized. A person without vision is like
a blind man groping in darkness. Isaiah puts it this way, “we look
for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep
shadows.”
Every business has a vision, every church has a vision, every
family has a vision, yet every one of us needs personal vision.

What is the Gospel Message?
by Pastor John Lindsey

People of God, I want to talk to
you about a topic that I believe is
one of the most important subjects
we have been given stewardship
over and the responsibility of
handling as children of God. This
my people, is the gospel of Jesus
Christ. Jesus began to commission
the church in Mark 16:15 to go
into all the world and preach the
gospel to every creature. When He
said, ‘go’ it shows that the Lord
commanded us, the church, the
body of Christ to ‘go’ and preach
this gospel. The term ‘all the world’
is something I deem vitally
important to understand. A person
does not have to necessarily travel
to China or to Africa to fulfill this
commission. God revealed this
mystery to me a few years ago. I
always thought you had to travel the
world to fulfill this or  be ordained
as an Apostle of Jesus Christ, but
what I came to realize is the fact
that everywhere you go in life is
your ‘all the world’.

Father, God in the Name of Jesus
by Pastor John Lindsey

We as Christians and ministers
especially, have to know how to
pray effectively. Without knowledge
of the scriptures, it is very easy to
fall away into error. Your
effectiveness and knowledge in
prayer shows your level of maturity
in your walk with Christ.

Following the ways of tradition,
especially within certain
denominations, we were taught to
pursue ignorant practices regarding
prayer, deliverance, fasting, wearing
of apparel, etc. We have accepted
these customs as doctrine without
studying to show ourselves
approved unto God for ourselves.
Unfortunately, we have learned to
imitate the repetitive, vain patterns
of prayer regardless to whether the
prayer is biblically accurate or not.
Sometimes we follow these vain
traditions out of habit because it is
what we are used to, it sounds and
feels good, or it makes us feel
spiritual.
