The Spiritual Dimensions of True Love Church of Refuge
True Love Church (TLC aka) was born January 2, 2005 to Apostle John and
Prophetess Lindsey. She (TLC) emerged from the shadows of Faith Tabernacle
Church of Deliverance born on July 24, 2004 to Prophetess Delisa Lindsey. Since
her conception, TLC has undergone tremendous growing pains to arrive to the
place where She can be called one of the Charlotte, NC's premier apostolic and
prophetic training hubs. TLC is still a WORK IN PROGRESS. She will never
arrive to the place of perfection until He that is Perfect shall fully manifest
Himself within Her. Until then, She shall remain a church, the Elect Lady as she
is also called, striving for excellence. TLC has a strong mandate for reaching the
lost, sending delegates around the nation to preach the glorious gospel of Jesus
Christ and to advance His Kingdom in the earth. TLC has accepted the solemn
responsibility to act as an apostolic and prophetic training center. This Elect
Lady trains ministers for worthwhile service in the Kingdom of our God. She is
non religious and non traditional with Her spiritual sons and daughters never
really knowing from one service to another how the Spirit of God will move in
their worship services. TLC places strong demands on its sons and daughters,
ESPECIALLY those called to ministry. Truthfully, this has worked out well for
some and not so well for others, but the mandate remains the same, nonetheless.
Prospective members are asked to attend at least four (4) services to fully gauge
whether the spiritual atmosphere and climate is conducive to their growth. They
are then unanimously voted in by current members in a public worship service.
New members are allowed a grace period of no more than three (3) months
(honeymoon) to learn aspects of ministry before being required to engage in a
certain aspect of ministry which is befitting them. TLC fully believes in every
member being active in ministry. We do not allow nor condone Pew Warmers.
We are all members of One Body, and Christ deserves all of His members to be
fully functioning.

The Body of TLC has FAITH in the work whereunto we are called.
We are a People of Knowledge of the Word of God.
We show no Respect of Persons.
TLC is not built upon spiritual gifts but rather the Word of the God,which is the
Rock, Christ Jesus.
We expect our ministry to grow exponentially in every aspect; spiritually,
naturally, financially, and physically.
TLC supports its spiritual leadership with prayers, fasting, intercession and in
giving.
TLC is a fasting and praying ministry.
TLC keeps its motives pure and holy at any and all costs.
TLC demonstrates great love one toward another; esteeming one another as
brother or sister.
TLC expects spiritual gifts and fruit to grow into abundance in the lives of its
members, and
We hold each believer responsible for applying spiritual concepts as they are
taught. Each member must take personal responsibility for their actions.
